The program can be pursued on a full-time or part-time basis.
Within the MEd program, the field in Education in the Professions is a course-based professional master’s program delivered online, through mainly synchronous courses. This program is designed for individuals working in areas such as the health professions, law and law enforcement, engineering, and public services, who are planning a career in educational administration, teaching, and leadership. This field introduces the broader area of higher education as well as current issues and research methods in education research in the professions.

Program-Specific Information (Minimum Admission Requirements)
- Applicants are admitted under the .
- An appropriate bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a grade equivalent to a University of Toronto mid-B or better in the final year.
Required Supporting Documents
All applicants must submit:
- Transcript(s) from each post-secondary institution attended.
- Two letters of reference (one academic and one professional).
- Resumé that provides clear and complete information about the applicant's work or field experience related to their proposed studies.
- Answers to faculty admissions questions (applicants are to answer each question in an essay format).
