In July 2023, Rijeka, Croatia, hosted a week-long conference that brought together over 50 international scholars, educators, activists, and practitioners to share insights on preventing sexual and gender-based violence. Led by OISE professor Miglena Todorova and doctoral student Nana Gulic, the event aimed to transcend national borders.
Six women have been awarded a 2023 Leaders and Legends award, which celebrates the impact of OISE's alumni and friends.
