Junior/Intermediate Teaching Subjects and Prerequisites
Applicants who apply to the Master of Teaching Program's Junior/Intermediate (J/I) division will be eligible to teach children from grades four to ten.
Please note that you must select one subject specialization, known as a "teachable" or "teaching subject" from the list below and indicate this in your application.
Please ensure that you have the required number of undergraduate course prerequisites for a chosen teaching subject prior to applying. A course will be counted as a prerequisite toward your teaching subject chosen if you have completed and received credit for the course or if you can prove you are currently enrolled in the prerequisite course on your transcript. Note that the course you are enrolled in must be completed before the start of the Master of Teaching Program.
The Â鶹´«Ã½ division of the Registrar's Office and Student Experience and the Master of Teaching program cannot provide an assessment of credentials for teaching subject eligibility prior to submission of an application.
